at VBHD Course at HBS
It was a precious opportunity to attend the Value Based Health Care Delivery (VBHD) Course at Harvard Business School that was organized and delivered by the best professors including Prof. Porter, Prof. Feeley and their team, this amazing group highlighted the fundamental concepts of Health Care Economics with deep discussions of the national and international cases. Three days of intensive course with dedicated presentations, teaching notes, videos and real time solving problems conversations.

Attending this course widen my knowledge about Value-Based Health Care, the way of thinking to achieve better patients’ outcomes in correlation with cost measurements and the way to apply the best project examples overseas.

I realized important economic aspects for improving value for patients with cost effective plans. Since significant improvements in value will require major strategic and organizational changes, Value Based Health Care Delivery has affected the way of assessing the elements of the structure of organization budget, dealing with health insurances and widening the umbrella of the institutional health services. It has encouraged me to explore more on Health Economics.  As in training fellow, it was a valuable experience to better identify my interests and better visualizing my career goals.
