It was a new sunrise at the Harvard
Business School as a group of us had the opportunity and privilege to
participate in the Value Based Healthcare Delivery course. This is one of the
most inspiring courses I have ever attended.
It was amazing to discuss the stories of accomplishment of the most prominent
and influe
ntial medical programs in this nation and the world. Furthermore, we
were able to hear first hand from the protagonists who made all of these
success stories possible. It was
exciting to understand the motivations, goals, and desires that drove them. They shared with us not only their personal
insights but were also very generous on the granular details and strategies of
their journeys and how they approached and were able to overcome obstacles. The
common denominator they all had was the devotion to their patients and interest
to pursue the best possible care and outcomes.
A new sunrise in Healthcare. |
Fresh ideas are needed within the
realm of a rapidly changing health care delivery system. I believe that as
health care gains growing prominence in American economic and healthcare policy
debates, the experience and exposure gained may allow us to add a strong voice
and insight with a special perspective. In addition, we may emulate the creation of
unique programs. Again, a truly INSPIRING experience!
